Snowflakes Claim Term Is Causing Their Mental Health Problems

“You are not special. You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake”.

If you’re between the ages of 16 and 24, odds are you’re triggered and retreating back to your safe places right about now.

Generation Snowflake refers to the babies who became legal adults during the 2000s and 2010s. 50 years ago it would be unthinkable that an individual of legal age would indulge in childlike behaviors without reproach But, now it seems the norm.

The phrase Snowflake is often applied to those at universities or entering the professional workplace who use “trigger warnings” to alert their colleagues to all the things they disagree with and find offensive to hear.  In efforts to create “safe places” free from certain opinions or actions.

Aviva did a large study on this generation and uncovered some interesting statistics on the “mental health” of generation snowflake.
