It does in a way.. but air conditioners remove humidity and that will add it. but in a sticky situation out on the porch it would make you feel much better aimed directly at you.
Before we had air at the shop we put ice in those foam coolers and put a fan behind them. Everybody had their own and was a life saver
I am sure this works, but melting ice and electricity just don’t like a good combination…accident waiting to happen
