Summer weather is heating up, so you know just how important keeping cool can be.
We found this great money-saving tip to keep you cool: Not only comfort is a factor, in fact every year people die due to heat. Keeping even a small area of your home cool in toasty summer weather can be very expensive if you use your air conditioner. Instead, this simple air conditioner, an easy DIY project cools down a small area, and can be made in just a few minutes out of simple parts.
This is a great way to re-purpose a few parts that you probably already have laying around. Check out the full video & how-to after the jump:

i did this. total waste of time and money!
It’s a swamp cooler not an air conditioner.
I BUILT ONE JUST FOR THE SHEAR $#%&!@*S AN GIGGLES THIS SO CALLED AC IS ~~~~~BUSTED~~~~~
And the cooler cost at least 20 to 30 not including the fan
ok be creative…. buy that ice chest at a garage sale and fan too… I made one of these with new products and it cost around 30.00. I just drilled 6, 1/7/8 holes on top and a 9 inch hole for fan,and sat it right under my ceiling fan on the floor, it made a difference. I froze gallon jugs of water and i just switch them out when they totally defrost. If using for camping use the elbows to point the breeze. it will help in a pinch
For you nay sayers and name callers telling people theyre idiots…this is “camping trip” rig. Not for the whole house…. Morons.
I just love stuff like this
