Uh, yeah these work. Built one for the cuddy on the boat. Yorkie had asthma. Seal the ice, no additional humidity. I put dry ice in dual zip lock bags in the cooler. Use tongs children, don’t touch. You nay sayers, think low draw 12v. Anyone saying they don’t work, or Walmart has a window unit for $150 is an idiot. Build a cooler, to operate on 12v, at a low current draw, use your HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE AND MATH, and you’ll end up here.
It cost as much to freeze the ice as the cold are you get from it cost using a AC. For every action there is a equal and opposite reaction
Didn’t work very well.
Highly inefficient waste of money. C’mon, people, stay in school and pass science class…
Idiots…you’re blowing hot air across a piece of ice. Great…how much ice you have stocked up. And for your information air conditioners REMOVE moisture from the air not ADD it. In reality this will just make you warmer. Why not just go to the sink and run cold water over your wrists , wash your face and drink some cold water. THAT will have a longer lasting effect then this.
