Made my own too. Have about $20 in it. 1gal milk jugs frozen work very well. The air circulates through it instead of just over the top.

yeah i made one but it doesn’t work that well.
All of the heat removed from the water to make ice is put right back into the house from your freezer’s condenser. Plus heat from the motors and compressor. Total waste of a beer cooler.
Not to mention it puts off carbon dioxide so yeah let’s get asphyxiated.
