This sounds like the start of a lame “you might be a redneck if ….” gag.
My husband just made two of these for our 32′ sailboat. He used freezie packs inside with a battery powered fan outside. They aren’t powerful enough to cool the whole cabin, but if you have it right next to you, then it works great! It made sleeping in our aft cabin bearable on a hot sticky night at dock. Better than spending thousands installing AC!
