If you think that the administration’s policy regarding Syria hasn’t been a complete disaster, you aren’t paying attention.
Breaking rank from the left-wing party line that gushes over thing Obama says and does, investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has revealed damning information about the president’s strategy in Syria. According to him, the situation has gotten so bad that military leaders have decided to disregard the White House’s official policy on Syria and cooperate with other forces.
And by other forces, I mean foreign intelligence agencies.
As it turns out, the Joint Chiefs of Staff have repeatedly explained to Obama that if Assad falls, ISIS will take over Syria, but he flatly refuses to accept this, pressing ahead with his insistent line that “Assad must go.” In despair, the JCS resolved to share information about the group with countries like Germany, Israel, and Russia, who passed it along to the Syrian army.
