Top Seven Mysterious Animal Deaths in 2017
4) Dolphins Washing-up on Shore in U.K. and France
3,500 dolphins have washed up on shore in the U.K and France this year. You would think this would be getting more attention. But, I had to go to foreign news sites to gather this information. Why wouldn’t more people be talking about this?
About 3,500 dolphins have died this year in the waters of the Atlantic, a veritable massacre that is expected to increase over time.In just four weeks, 800 dolphins have run aground on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, which is 30 times larger than what is considered the “normal” level of beached in these animals, making this area one of the most affected.
The problem is serious, as the Atlantic coast had not experienced a similar event since 1997. Dead bodies of dolphins off the coast have been appearing since the beginning of this year, but especially in recent months has seen a record number of dolphin corpses common in beaches like the Landes, Gironde, Charente and Vendée in France.
Scientists suggest these deaths are partly attributed to fishing nets. However, this alone can’t account for all of the deaths.
Head on over to the next page to learn about the seals dying in the Caspian Sea and why veterinarians are just burning the corpses instead of investigating. How can you explain number 5 on our list?!
Rumor has it that liberals are pushing the tale that “dinosaur flatulence” caused the great extinction 65 million years ago. Some are even spewing that original flatulence.
