The Seattle Times ran an opinion piece suggesting the flawed National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) meant to facilitate background checks before firearms sales will not work correctly as long gun sales by a “private party” are allowed.
Ironically, every gun transaction in the US between 1791 and 1998 has been a “private party” sale, even if the sale took place inside a retailer. The Second Amendment was ratified in 1791. 1998 was the year the NICS system was implemented under the auspices of the Brady Act.
And now, after a decade and a half of public attackers passing a NICS check to acquire their guns, we are told the system will not work unless private sales are eliminated. Read more of the Seattle Times’ rant on the next page.
Hey Seattle how about a ban on freedom of the press every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Didn’t think so. You friggin liberal ivory tower s$#%&!@*bags. If you have any part in really trying to impose something like this by ignoring the rights that people have been given by cons$#%&!@*ution you will be on the losing end. By the people, for the people and of the people. Words to remember I $#%&!@*ure you.
heil $#%&!@* is what you Seattle people will be saying.
It will be uncons$#%&!@*utional.
Seattle and the whole government is acting treason on the people by infringing on their right. The right that states Shall not infringe.
and that has what effect on criminals?? what ever stupid laws they could dream up only affect people who have done nothing wrong — it’s not the gun that’s the issue a gun is a tool it can’t do anything by itself someone has to make a choice to use said tool — it’s time they put the blame on the person not the tool– if a car is driven into a crowd they don’t blame the car—- they blame the driver yet don’t see BS laws being enacted against cars no they go after the driver — so what’s different??
And the criminals and government will control you
Liberals are comics
Straight from the WH.
Screw the Times. If their “freedom of the press” was threatened, watch them scream.
This is all BS. Should they start this I am sure a lot of people will find away to keep their guns.
