Fringe science raises eyebrows as well as questions, yet it also creates intrigue as well. Today’s fringe science story is regarding teleportation of DNA from one separated test tube to another.
In the experiment, two adjacent but physically separate test tubes were placed within a copper coil and subjected to a very low frequency electromagnetic field of 7 hertz. The apparatus was isolated from Earth’s natural magnetic field so there was no interference. One tube contained a fragment of DNA (approximately 100 bases long) and the second one contained nothing but water.
After approximately 17 hours, the gene fragment (according to Montagnier) was recovered from both tubes, even though one should have just contained water.
Radical breaks from what is considered accepted scientific knowledge has always been suspect. Consider, Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo and Newton whose discoveries challenged the accepted scientific working model. Some of these men were called blasphemous in their scientific discoveries as it challenged hundreds of years beliefs.
This is a discovery that, were the scientific community to get on board, would represent “the most significant experiments performed in the past 90 years, demanding re-evaluation of the whole conceptual framework of modern chemistry,”
