Needville High School in Texas suspended Mason Michelac after his refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance as a protest against big government.
“I’m really tired of our government taking advantage of us,” said Michalec in a statement to KHOU. “I don’t agree with the NSA spying on us. And I don’t agree with any of those Internet laws.”
In protesting against our authoritarian government he runs into an authority trying to limit his first amendment rights.
This is not the Texas I used to know. Lets all get behind this . Have these dummies ever heard of the Constitution. If Obama is telling them to do this and disregard the US Constitution they had better wake up because we are throwing Obama out of office time Trey Gowdy gets finished with him . Of course they think he won’t make it because of threats that someone has been making against Trey Gowdy but again like the Bundy ranch a patriot is going to ruin their little plan
Joe, are you going to DC on the 16th?
PULL YOUR KIDS OUT OF SCHOOL NOW !!!!!
The government is full of Islamic and Nazi terrorists, stop them
a pledge that is mandatory is no pledge at all…….the pledge of allegiance is a pledge of honor given in respect when earned, never by demand…..i volunteered and fought for his right to refuse such orders, and would gladly do so again and again…..
What happened to freedom of speech?
Standing with a fellow Texan.
What irony.
Oddly enough, the school proved him right
What is this kid… 16 and he’s tired of big government. Has he got a lot to learn!
