A Delaware high school student decided to “sit out” the Pledge of Allegiance, and alleged that his teacher reprimanded him that sitting out was not an option. The American Humanist Association (AHA) stated the student contacted them to represent him and his rights. The AHA immediately contacted the school, sending legal precedence with a demand the school follow this law.

Liberty and justice for all?
Thats a lie if there ever was one. One nation under God? Thats a lie, we are very ungodly.
The only truthful part is it being the flag of the united states of America.
And why would i go to another country that is going to force allegience and propaganda on me?
If the pledge is not stated and known then you dont belong here our forfathers wrote it as a promise for ever american and if you dont wish to make that pledge get the hell out
If they’re going to free public school then, it should be mandatory.
If you can’t pledge allegiance to America, GET OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!
Then we should say the pledge AS IT WAS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN…..ie. no mention of god.
Actually yes it has…some people just choose to believe whatever they want.
So in a FREE Country your solution is to KILL PEOPLE that disagree with you……..what is wrong with you?
It has always been optional….this whole “article” was posted just to p**s off people that for some reason think we should require children to pledge an oath to the government every morning…with no legal precident to back them up.
Atheists, agonostics and even people that believe in Vodoo has every right that you have as an American Citizen…that is how democracy works.
Don, the sheeple are so helplessly devoted to the existing false paradigm, it’s almost not worth responding to them. The sheeple have forgotten how to think for themselves and only regurgitate what they hear and read. Americans have this sort of blind patriotism like I’ve never seen that completely covers their eyes. And it’s the Christians that I feel the worst for. They can only serve one master, and it seems as though, for most of them, that the master is God Government.
