A Delaware high school student decided to “sit out” the Pledge of Allegiance, and alleged that his teacher reprimanded him that sitting out was not an option. The American Humanist Association (AHA) stated the student contacted them to represent him and his rights. The AHA immediately contacted the school, sending legal precedence with a demand the school follow this law.
should students be able to sit out the pledge? next page
They need to pay attention and do what the People want ,,,
as a rebellious teenager i didn’t want to do the pledge of allegiance. i then grew up, and matured and went on to serve in the US navy, and become an oath keeper.
in a nation based on freedom and liberty, no one should be forced to say ANYTHING they choose not to.

Wait…..what ?
Wrong headline.
The school, when confronted with the fact that one of their teacher’s violated the policy, stated that students had never been required to say the Pledge.
It is school district, state and federal law that the Pledge is optional. So, NO, the school didn’t make it optional.
Sensationalize, much?
…sad to live in such a weak kneed country…
