A Delaware high school student decided to “sit out” the Pledge of Allegiance, and alleged that his teacher reprimanded him that sitting out was not an option. The American Humanist Association (AHA) stated the student contacted them to represent him and his rights. The AHA immediately contacted the school, sending legal precedence with a demand the school follow this law.

We are not a democracy. .that’s liberal b.s..we are are free republic … wake up.
Apparently Bobby wants to live in a Theocracy….thankfully the founders of this country knew better….
NO. Pledge allegiance to America and her flag, OR LEAVE.
The pledge has never been mandatory…and the Supreme Court ruled on this 70 years ago….the only reason this is being discussed is to get people to overreact and to drive clicks to generate ad revenue.
A free country that has a mandatory, daily pledge of allegiance….you know that’s not how that works right?
Wrong
Objections from who? Muslims? Forget it.
Objections from US Citizens because that’s how freedom works. The pledge has always been optional….
Bobby Austin As it should be. My kids took Eddy Eagle at the rec center and are learning how to shoot at our place. Schools aren’t there to teach everything. As far as the bible, why only yours?
