Parents are peeved at the new pick up policy for their children at Bear Branch Elementary in Magnolia, Texas. Even if one’s home is directly across the street from the school, the school mandates that the parent must get into the car and get in line with the hundreds of other vehicles, no walk up kid pick up allowed.
Under the banner of safety for children, the school neglected to think about the lunacy found in the unintended consequences of their noble idea. Only by bus or car, can a parent send and retrieve their children, no longer can a child hold a parent’s hand to walk four doors down to and from school.
The inconvenience is also found in the hour long lines of cars to pick up the students. One parent told KPRC 2 News that parents begin to line up at 2:30 for a 3:25 dismissal time.
Unintended consequences are found on the following page.
The parents have every right the school does not own these kids
The Schools are getting (or think they have) too much power … Contrary to what the GOV tell you these are OUR children !!! not the Governments !
They cant…

I’d be suing for endangering the welfare of my child.
Every parent that has children in that school should pull their children out of there.. The parent pay for that school and everything that goes on in it. they pay the teachers and the administration.. PROPLR THEY WORK FOR YOU.
Now the schools have taken over guardianship of people’s children? Communist schools for sure
Stupidity
