A school board member in Iowa, caught in a Facebook post implying President Donald Trump should be assassinated, last Thursday resigned his position via text message as news broke about his comments.
Knoxville Community School District Superintendent Cassi Pearson confirmed she received the message from Mike Helle while she was attending a middle school choir concert.
Simultaneously, School Board President Andrew Schmidt received Helle’s resignation via text message. Helle followed up the texts with a formal resignation submitted via email.
Learn what Helle posted, how local police responded, and what the school district must do now to replace Helle and overcome the adverse publicity. The details follow on the next page.

What the Helle….?
Where do these fools get off thinking they can threaten the president of the United States ??
Draining the swamp needs to include academia
Funny how the federal government will collar this idiot but these even more idiotic celebs can continue with THEIR special kind of hatred driven stupidity
He sounds like he just figured out its not smart to post death threats on social media. Where has he been, under a rock. Those words were pretty clear, not taken out of context
This proves one thing, he doesn’t deserve to walk free among us. Do y’all want this guy next to you in a mall? or caged so we can walk by real slow and look at him threw the bars.
Lock this guy up. Until people see that their actions have consequences this will continue. I have to say, I blame Obummer for all of this hate.
Egad. What are these people drinking?
Now you know why the kids are turning out so stupid, ignorant, thoughtless, hurtful and hateful. It’s not the parents, like the teachers love to tell everyone. It’s the liberal teachers!
