Yes, your TV is literally spying on you.
The statement reads, “Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party.”

Windows, from Vista on had the capability to decrypt your encrypted emails via a protected registry key called NSAKEY. Also, from XP on, Microsoft sends your personal information, history, app cache and other usage info to “3rd parties”. It only became blatant with Windows 8 and 10 where they flat out tell you in the EULA that they will be monitoring your every keystroke and sharing it with the federal government. Go with Linux.
