Russia Military to Overwhelm U.S. Readiness
The U.S. has drawn down the number of intercontinental ballistic missiles that are ready to deploy against Russia or a handful of other nations that might threaten the safety and security of our nation.
President Ronald Reagan was criticized and mocked for his “star wars” program of defense against incoming ballistic missiles, odd in that it was a to protect against aggression, though the press spun it as a way for the U.S. to attack and avoid countermeasures.
The Left in general loathes the U.S. military, so it will be interesting to see their reaction to the latest pronouncements from the Russian command. They recently made the following information available, and it is terrifying.
The existing US missile shield is incapable of withstanding a massive strike of Russian nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), the commander of Russia’s Strategic Missile Troops told a press conference.
The analysis of Russian military experts has found that “neither the firepower potential, nor the data computing capacity of the currently deployed US missile defense” installations could deal with a swarm attack of the Russian nuclear triad, Strategic Missile Troops Commander, Colonel General Sergey Karakaev, told journalists Wednesday.
He pointed to the estimates of American experts who believe an effective missile defense system must consist of various integrated types of missile interception means, be it kinetic or laser systems, deployed in all environments, including in space. Such multi-layered defense would be able to engage missiles in the air and warheads in space.
The long-term development plans of Russia’s Strategic Missile Troops have been corrected to take into consideration the predicted scale and pace of US missile defense development, the general said.
The Strategic Missile Troops plans to introduce some “brand new and effective means and techniques to penetrate any missile defense system,” General Karakaev said, stressing that Russian ballistic missiles are capable of engaging targets “anywhere in the world.”
Next-gen ballistic missiles with breakthrough characteristics, carrying new means to penetrate ABM systems, would “guarantee to neutralize emerging potential threats,” Karakaev said.
Karakaev pointed out that the use of ballistic missiles would be carried out with authorization of the supreme commander, the president of Russia. “In case there is a political decision, the Strategic Missile Troops are ready to execute any assigned mission,” Karakaev said.
Obama and his Democrat party have essentially ignored the first responsibility of the federal government and the commander in chief, which is to ensure the safety and security of the nation. With this new revelation that we are essentially defenseless against an attack by Russia, and we are now put in a much weakened posture that will affect our ability to negotiate and direct in international affairs.
During the cold war, the principle was called MAD or Mutually Assured Destruction, which meant that neither side was inclined to openly attack the other since it would mean annihilation for both sides. When the U.S. developed an effective shield, it tipped the balance to the U.S., and so our range of options in the world scene was much broader. Now we are much less secure, and less able to exercise influence because we can no longer defend ourselves against a ballistic missile attack from Russia. Their development of missiles that can evade defensive measures implemented by U.S. weaponry and technology greatly weakens the U.S.
All of this is brought about because Obama and his minions have not recognized the real threat that Russia represents. It will take significant investment and commitment to catch up to this new threat, and that will only happen if the U.S. is directed by a leader who understands the mind set of the Russians. Unfortunately, that cannot begin for at least another year while the president is still in office. Thanks, Mr. Obama, for waging a war against our own military. It has left us weak and vulnerable. It was completely unnecessary. But it is reality. Let’s hope that the next president can reverse course before it is too late.

That’s almost funny?! Russia has an anti-missile satellite and Israel has a bullet-missile AND the Iron Dome both of which stop incoming missiles. WHERE is our anti-missile defense mr. prez.?
