High-level Russian hackers broke into restricted areas of the White House computer system this week and obtained sensitive information, such as the President’s private schedule.
Apparently, the hackers first obtained access through the State Dept email system, which sent a email to someone in the White House that contained malicious software. After the person was tricked into downloading the software, the program was able to grab intel.
