Russian Aircraft have been making more incursions into US airspace since Dec. 13 and Nov. 12, 2014, and Feb. 12, 2013.
In 2013, F-15s were scrambled to intercept the aircraft. Another time it was F-22s that were scrambled to greet the wandering Russians.
Back then, the planes were antiquated Tupolev Tu-95 bears, propeller driven bombers first developed in the early 1950’s.
Once when they were intercepted, Capt. Jeff Davis, a spokesman for the North American Aerospace Defense Command explained “They followed all the protocols, and it was a very professional encounter on both sides. There was nothing that they were doing that was contrary to international law.”
This past fourth of July, two more Tu-95s greeted United States pilots with a message according to the North American Aerospace Defense Command: “Good morning, American pilots. We are here to greet you on your Fourth of July Independence Day.”

Turkey would have shot it down but we Americans are to afraid to protect our air space. Had this been in the 1960’s it would have been a different story.
Lol and people believe this. If that happened we would have shot it down. Idiots.
No it is not. The US and Russia were both flying over each other’s airspace until the fall of the communist Russia. In the 90s, Russia stopped doing this, but US continued overflights. A few years ago Russia continued these overflights as well. So yes, maybe they were here, not sure about this article, but US is doing the same thing to them, so settle down people.
No one talks about bears flying up the coast in the old says either. It’s like it’s something new and horrible vs. rather routine.
Turkey would have shot it down.
any website called “Truth and Action” has to be exactly that….
and how did they make it thru Canadian air space….hoax.
