Mitt Romney just pulled a 180 on Obamacare. He’s even taking responsibility for it. While speaking of the death of his friend and political supporter, Staples founder Thomas Stemberg, Romney mentioned his “Romneycare” program he instituted as Governor of Massachusetts.
“Without Tom pushing it, I don’t think we would have had Romneycare,” Romney said. “Without Romneycare, I don’t think we would have Obamacare. So, without Tom a lot of people wouldn’t have health insurance.”
That’s a stark turnaround from Romney’s rhetoric on the campaign trail in 2012, as he repeatedly condemned Obamacare as a job killer and a threat to quality health insurance for Americans.

Without a campaign to run, Romney may be getting antsy to churn the pot. One can only speculate what would make him have such a turnaround on the issue.
