Even the most delusional anti-Trump Republican seems to agree, the man they love to loathe is going to walk away from the GOP primary with more delegates than anyone in the race.
Any other year, this would seal a victory for the frontrunner. Those beaten would release their delegates to the frontrunner and the party would soldier to the general election as a cohesive, unified organization.
But this isn’t any other year, as Trump has disturbed all sense of normalcy and tradition in his bid to become the president of the United States, and the party isn’t happy.
The Republican Party has long been the party of ‘fall in line,’ and ‘wait your turn,’ and Donald Trump’s refusal to do either has enraged the establishment so fiercely that they’re now poised to do everything in their power to shut him down.
Reince Priebus, the head of the GOP establishment, seems so determined to get Trump off the national ticket that he’s willing to undermine the very democracy upon which his party is based.
See how he insulted Republican voters across the country on the next page:
We the People Just Might Have Something to Say About That….We’re Tired of ALL the Lies
Not W/my support I am leaving the Rep party
thats a good way to destroy the party$#%&!@*……
Screw you idiot
I think that every state should be like South Carolina with one exception….no delegates. Popular vote in a primary. This is the information age where people have access to means to get to know the candidates themselves. The delegate system is obsolete and corrupt. Every state should allow it’s citizens to register to vote up to 30 days prior to an election. No party affiliation registration whatsoever. Let them vote for who they want to. No “calling” an election until all of the votes are in. I think with term limits and no more “salary for life,” politicians wouldn’t be willing to risk so much to be corrupt in the first place.
Ken Shamblin it does not matter how anyone answers you , you just think you are sooo smart . You would argue with God. Colorado did not allow delegates for Trump a voice. .. Colorado had duplicate delegates with the same number for Cruz. Etc. Etc. No need to contradict. ..I saw it happening on film. By now everyone on this thread knows you. You are as pompous as your Ted. I for one are blocking you. I have better things to do than read your junk.
This parties attitude is giving the middle class conservatist the middle finger, well middle class America should do the same at voting time and either don’t vote republican or vote independent or democrat. I don’t like that as a choice but first we deal with the GOP. Later we can deal with the democrats.
If this happens I will not vote.
The republican party needs people we don’t need RINO’s. Let the party die off!!!!!
Won’t be much of a party after you screw Trump out of the nomination!
