For months now, true Conservative patriots have been reporting on the tragic miscalculation by RINOs in Congress to have fallen for the identity-shaming by Jackass Party members in regards to GLBTQAI (well, you know the initials) issues that are typically weaponized in order to scare weak-kneed Republicans into toeing the “bipartisan” line. Knowing full well that bipartisan to the Left means “give up every notion of moral and ethical code you stand for and follow our lead,” Right-wing advocates have pointed out time and time again that you can’t fall for that fake news that a majority of Americans support gay rights because it’s simply not true. Never has been.
The packaging and the polishing of any Leftist issue is so sleek and so believable that many fall into the trap of accepting what’s asserted without actually ever stopping to do any sort of opposition research. RINOs in particular are one of the worst offenders when it comes to bowing before an inferior force, resembling all too often General Charles Lee in the Battle of Monmouth: at the first sign of the enemy, call “Retreat!”
In essence, that is exactly what these 24 GOP House members have in common:
Justin Amash (Michigan)
Jack Bergman (Michigan)
Mike Coffman (Colorado)
Barbara Comstock (Virginia)
Paul Cook (California)
Ryan Costello (Pennsylvania)
Carlos Curbelo (Florida)
Jeff Denham (California)
Charlie Dent (Pennsylvania)
John Faso (New York)
Brian Fitzpatrick (Pennsylvania)
Darrell Issa (California)
John Katko (New York)
Steve Knight (California)
Leonard Lance (New Jersey)
Frank LoBiondo (New Jersey)
They all just jumped parties to vote against the majority of the American people to force the taxpayers to pay for sex-reassignment surgery for those service members in the military who want to jump sexes. You heard that right. 24 RINOs decided that they were no longer endangered and joined a herd of Jackasses to force us to pay for someone else undoing what God did right the first time around.
The Republican-led House narrowly rejected a measure on Thursday that sought to strike an Obama-era practice of requiring the Pentagon to pay for gender transition surgeries and hormone therapy.
Democrats described the proposal as bigoted, unconstitutional and cowardly and they won support from 24 GOP lawmakers to scuttle the amendment to the annual defense policy bill, 214-209.
The amendment crafted by Rep. Vicky Hartzler, R-Mo., would have forbid money from being spent by the military’s health care system for medical treatment related to gender transition. Hartzler portrayed her proposal as a good government plan aimed at assuring military dollars are spent only on critical national defense needs.
Hartzler estimated transition surgeries, which she said most private insurance plans don’t even cover, could cost the military $1.3 billion over the next 10 years. Troops who have the surgery require months of recovery, she added, which means they’re unavailable to do their jobs.
“It makes no sense to create soldiers who are unable to fight and win our nation’s wars,” Hartzler said.
But House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi called the amendment an attack on the health and dignity of thousands of U.S. service members, and Rep. Steny Hoyer of Maryland, the No. 2 Democrat in the House, said Hartzler intended to “politically denigrate” transgender troops.
So, as you can imagine, the scare tactics and the identity-shaming worked its wonders on these 24 RINOs who decided, “Heck, I’m in a mostly Democrat constituency-dominated district…I’d better throw away all my values and do something completely against my conscience just so I can go on MSNBC and CNN and trumpet my support for the QBLIGAT community!”
LGBT advocacy groups condemned Hartzler’s amendment. Ashley Broadway-Mach, president of the American Military Partner Association, called the proposal a “vicious attack on service members who are sacrificing so much and putting their lives on the line for our country.”
Man, these Liberals really have this down to a science, don’t they? They are good! It’s no wonder that so many Americans feel like they’re the minority, despite statistics and facts. You can’t blame them.
Well, for his part, Speaker Paul Ryan is beside himself in confusion. He just doesn’t know why he lost control of an issue that he should very well have been able to get every Republican in the House to rally around, but instead left it up to their own devices and…well, you know the rest of the story.
Next up on the docket for the House: Inter-Species Marriage in the U.S. Postal Service (dogs and humans in holy matrimony).
Would it surprise you? [I heard that 28 RINOs are already onboard]
