Liberals will be hard pressed to tout Obama’s economic success after the retail apocalypse has been fully realized.
With thousands of stores being closed across the country, the Federal Reserve will have a hard time propping up our failed economy with QE and zero-interest polices after confidence is finally completely shattered.

Sears’s demise, I believe, was in their departure from their core business when they began to focus more on their “bottom line” than on the strength of what they had become. They began the massive expansion to appeal to everyone with everything. In the 70s you couldn’t go into a Sears store without being “accosted” by a half dozen sales people trying to help you. Beginning in the 90s not only couldn’t you find anybody to ask a question of, sometimes you couldn’t find even the area where whatever it was you were looking for was at, but worse, if you did, you couldn’t find anybody available to take your money! I was once a hard-core, die-hard, Sears customer – for the most part if Sears didn’t have it, I didn’t need it. When they began going downhill, I found I could go to several different places, get essentially the same thing, often at a lower price. This is the way capitolism works. People support quality, service, and value with their patronage and money. When those things are not up to the customer’s satisfaction, they take their business and money elsewhere. That’s when the entity begins to shrivel, slowly in a death spiral unless they make a radical, and determined, correct change to regain their customer base. RIP Sears.
Thank you obama
