Journalist Robert Parry writes that the U.S. backs these terrorist groups claiming them as a “valuable asset“ in the fight against Islamic State terrorists; the ones that the U.S. went to war against for in the first place.
All the while, Turkish forces are not all that happy with these terrorist groups, specifically with the Kurdish forces (also known as ISIS). The Turkish president decided to be ever so kind with regard to the Obama administration’s opinion on the matter, and has limited direct military attacks on these terrorist forces despite their own opinion. Now, Turkey and Saudi Arabia are expecting the U.S. to back them in the invasion of Syria, because hey, were all allies right?

Where do you get that the Kurds are ISIS? They’re probably the only ones besides Putin doing anything. Turkey supplies logistics, hospitals, and weapons to ISIS. Turkey is the real problem here
