Hurricane Harvey has many people questioning the best place to send their charitable donations. Scams and fraud are rampant. Even prominent Arab-American Muslim activist Linda Sarsour got caught redirecting funds donated to Harvey Victims into a liberal political super PAC.
And sadly the Red Cross is another organization you should add to that list.
Despite the Red Cross’s sterling reputation during its early years, globalist greed has crept into their midst.
When the deadly earthquake struck Haiti in 2010, the Red Cross did just about as much good as the Clinton Foundation. Investigative reports show out of the $500 million donated to the Red Cross to help earthquake victims, only 6 small homes were built. Even though the Red Cross promised they’d provide homes to at least 130,000 people with the Haitian relief funds.
This also happened after Hurricane Sandy, according to investigative reports conducted by NPR and ProPublica.
That brings us to Hurricane Harvey, and the Red Cross has a sickening disclosure to make in connection to how they’re spending Hurricane Harvey funds. Learn more on the next page.
I will never give to them!
Huge amount goes to the top people…and military had to buy their coffee.
Not sure my eye only about 10 percent goes to help people check out what the director makes
I agree with all the statements about the red cross. Have known for years that most of the DONATIONS go to ADMINISTRATION. NOT the real reason people donated their money. Maybe the f**e news media should look into all of these organizations. ???? I try to find somebody that actually knows people in the area and try to talk to THE PERSON THE ACTUALLY NEEDS SOME HELP.
Believe that small percentage is 8% that go to the people intended. Goodwill is not any better.
8%
Red Cross sucks
They have had a bad reputation for years now. I never donate to them.
Always the first request is for clothing! The sad part is people throw the stuff into big garbage bags and go dump it on the shelter. If people would take the clothing sorted by size and whether it’s for children or adults, they might be inclined to take more and certainly would appreciate the donations much more. It’s just too time consuming to sort through during a crisis.
10 percent goes to helping people. The rest goes to salaries of management and director. Director makes 600,00.00 plus in salery. A year. Red Cross is the reason I researched and will not give any money to them. Samaritans purse is a great charity. 100 percent goes to the victims. Walmart is now partnered with red cross. , making more millions to go into ceo pockets
