Real cops form relationships with their community, building trust and affecting the lives of children positively. There is no better example of this than Todd Templeton and his fellow officers from Kansas City, Missouri.
Without knowing he and his officers were being filmed, they played basketball with local kids for 30 min. this week.
“We’re doing it for the kids. We love the kids out here. We try to do our best interacting with the kids,” Templeton states. “They see enough of the bad stuff that goes in the neighborhoods just like we do, and we need to get their mind off of that.”
I nice story to see – as of late we seem to be beset by thugs in a uniform all over the country. Thanks for reminding us all what real cops are like guys.
this is the way it was years ago when cops walked the beat.
This what law enforcement is all about, it builds trust
Like to see this ” shows there are good cops out there”
When I was out to late, cops used to invite me to cruse around with them in their patrol cars.
this is phoney, cops are terrorists now killing citizens with warrantless no knock raids over cannabis. arrogant and power trippers shooting family pets and members
this might be some of the 10% of good cops out there. the other 90% are corrupt power hungry $#%&!@*s!!!!!!
THE “BAD COPS” ALWAYS SEEM TO GET THE “PUBLIC” NOTICE AND THE “GREAT” COPS LIKE THESE GUYS ARE OUTSTANDING CITIZIENS.
The POLICE are people too. LIKE people, some are criminals. Police Department SELECT for aggression.
No one believes that ALL cops are bad, but the good ones had better begin ridding their ranks of those that give them a bad image. It’s refreshing to see the ones worthy of public respect and trust.
Good FORM Gentlemen! There will allways be a small percentage of any group that will ruin it for the rest!
