“I can’t imagine any use for bayonets in an urban setting,” stated Sen. Rand Paul to Senate Homeland Security Committee at a hearing last year.
“I can’t answer what a local police force would use a bayonet for,” Alan Estevez said.
Paul snapped back “None”
Rand Paul is completely correct, of course, that there is no need for bayonets in local law enforcement. Bayonets are for hand-to-hand combat in battle and the only purpose is to kill.

That did look funny to me also Stan.
Josh Hall, no argument from me to that statement. Yes, we do have the right to the same weapons, and an old SCOTUS case affirmed it but weapons-grabbers try to ignore that.
I can’t find this comment in this rather long thread, but it’s hilarious. Maybe I should have suggested reading (and writing) comprehension lessons in English?

Why do I need to learn how to read? My point is why are you telling something to do, and learn about, something you don’t know.
Knives ON guns. Kinda different. Still funny, though. 😉
Evelyn Logan Kind of hard for them to shoot when they are running away…. Ha Ha
???? Brian…… i rarely watch tv because of the lies. Paid teleprompter readers… ive dealt with police enough. They help violate my natural rights every day, along with the political class. I am completely aware of their arrogance and attitude. Yet who do they “protect”? Who do they serve? They show up AFTER a crime takes place, and sometimes actually catch the responsible parties. The truth is, they are revenue agents of the state, county or city. And there is NO NEED for them to have military equipment. NO NEED.
Guess I need to get a few bayonets,I was trained how to use them in 1965. I think it will come back to me.
Du. Why. Do. U. Have. Shoes. On
David Suchite, because they weren’t “shooting back” before the bayonets?
to make a$#%&!@*force to “control”
