Radio Free Asia: North Korea Has Issued Emergency Standby to Civil Defense Units

It’s moment of truth time and we are running out of that precious concept.  Last week, North Korea threatened to launch a missile at Guam, a US territory south of Japan which houses both Anderson Air Force Base and Naval Base Guam.  This territory is one a handful of major US territories that has a significant military presence.

The missile strike that Pyongyang is threatening could very well be the end of that nation’s infrastructure and military.  If their military is successful in launching these missiles, there is a very good chance that they may not even hit or even reach their target.  Regardless of whether it hits or just misses, however, this would be a bridge too far for the North Korean military and leader.

Secretary of Defense Mattis, along with all the generals in his direct chain of command is already in conference day in and day out and are ready to take on any and all threats that North Korea has to offer.
