Public schools are perpetually whining about lack of funding, and yet the food nazis have made it impossible to hold school fundraisers such as cupcake sales or similar events for fear that school children will be “corrupted” by the evils of sweets and soda. And perhaps caution is appropriate so that a funding source does not unduly influence what happens in a schoolroom and even worse, to school curriculum.
Which is why schools in Austin, Texas should roundly and vociferously reject new funding offered by the Qatar Foundation International. The potential for abuse and indoctrination is too great, and the possibility that curriculum will be adjusted in order to continue to receive the funds too worrisome to accept the purported largesse of the foundation.
Who is the Qatar Foundation and what is their objective, page 2:
….ANYTHING for a $$$$$$.
You got damn freaking money whores. What will you not sell for that lousy green
The Muslims are infiltrating and will inculcate their ways. It’s hard not to take money but this is death money. Think about it…it is our death.
Don’t accept any Middle Eastern blood money to smear our schools with filth!?!
One has to monitor the educational programs ?
There we go again, getting some one else to do our work for us.
Culture should not be taught in schools that is the job that needs to be done at home, with a moral compass that lets the people assimilate to the country they now live in, not to change the country but to find a way for their culture not to interfere with the countries they go to culture,
This school and the school board needs to use this $100k to take this Arabic Language and Culture Education and themselves to Qatar where it will be of benefit. The parents of the children of this school district need to support their children and fire those school board members along with the bad teachers And the teachers Union so they can go to Qatar where their true interests and hearts are.
Tell them to keep their money, we’re not interested in your disgusting religion…
Why is teaching the Moslem philosophy OK, but Christian philosophy isn’t?
