Public schools are perpetually whining about lack of funding, and yet the food nazis have made it impossible to hold school fundraisers such as cupcake sales or similar events for fear that school children will be “corrupted” by the evils of sweets and soda. And perhaps caution is appropriate so that a funding source does not unduly influence what happens in a schoolroom and even worse, to school curriculum.
Which is why schools in Austin, Texas should roundly and vociferously reject new funding offered by the Qatar Foundation International. The potential for abuse and indoctrination is too great, and the possibility that curriculum will be adjusted in order to continue to receive the funds too worrisome to accept the purported largesse of the foundation.
Who is the Qatar Foundation and what is their objective, page 2:
I do not believe that this will happen in Texas! They have already put Obama in his place. Wait until the governor hears this.
Kevin you missed my point. It would be a big$#%&!@*you to the Muslims who gave them the money.
When the same course teach’s ALL THE OTHER MAJOR RELIGIONS.
THEY NEED TO LEARN THE MOTHER LANGUAGE, ENGLISH!!!
Thanks, but no thanks.
WTF!!!
What a bunch of bull! The school board should be fired! God will make sure they burn in hell!
Can believe as much as Texas claims they will protect their state, that they even took this money. Obviously another instance where money speaks over common sense. Have acquired little less respect for Texas. Their officials no different and no less corrupt than any other politician.’
I belong to a homeschool group and schools are now sending out questioners to understand what they can do to get kids back enrolled in public schools…they are losing money and if they don’t know why then they are on their way down…
We do not need or want Islamic indoctrination! This exactly how$#%&!@*started the deadly changes in Germany!
