We officially reached a new low this year with the whole finger-pointing-name-calling-racist-labeling project as conducted by liberal race-baiters.
UCLA professor emeritus of education, Val Rust, was the target of the protestors last year by “aggrieved minority students,” as they label themselves, for charges of racism.
Just what did Professor Rust do that got him labeled a racist? Get this…he corrected spelling, punctuation, and grammar in the papers of black students.

When I was in college, if the punctuation, grammar, and poor syntax, we got an F

Spell ignorant
It is not racist to teach what is correct. If punctuation was an English class OK but if it was just a paper reciting some historical event etc., then punctuation is not the key…It would be content.
Some black student do use bad grammar,just like people from around other parts of this country.When one of my sons was in middle school,he said he couldn’t understand his black teacher.This is not racism what this professor did,I appreciate the fact he was trying to Teach him proper grammar.Good luck,Sir
