Here are some good, common sense things to consider to be prepared for and prevent vehicle fires. There’s more to consider than just keeping a fire extinguisher in your car or truck.
vehicle fires often start in places that are very hard to get your extinguisher spraying on it anyways. It is amazing how quickly they grow too. To me, the biggest thing to have for a vehicle fire is something to cut seat belts and break glass to get someone out.
Man I ate 2 birthday cakes watching this video, GET TO THE POINT lol….I had a fire but was able to rip the hood insulation off and I tend to won older vehicles and the first thing I do is remove that fire loving insulation on hood, and add my own fire proof insulation. I keep plug wires properly in holders. Most under hood fires are from faulty spark plugs either hitting a fire source of gas leaks…..
And it’s a Chevy in the picture! Lmao! Good article though
