POLL: Blacks, Whites & Hispanics All Say “Keep the Monuments”

With the Confederate monuments Drama Of The Hour (DOTH) by the Fake News Industrial Complex (FNIC) being pumped through the television, radio, magazines and newspapers every single moment  in a frenzied attempt to convince Americans to feel about this issue the exact opposite way to how they legitimately feel, one would think that Black America would be completely through the roof with umbrage.

If you ask any Leftist on the street, they will tell you that Confederate monuments equals slavery and racism and, therefore, require their destruction.  Erasing them from our history books will help cleanse the Liberals of the tremendous weight of the White guilt that they feel upon their shoulders and would also prove to African-Americans that they are loved and respected.  Leftists will completely understand if Blacks decide to riot and kill Whitey over this newest DOTH and, by God, they’ll even stand still while Blacks beat on them and teach them a valuable lesson about how not to treat other human beings!

Understand, though, that these are the useful idiots of the Party of the Jackass.  They are beholden to a point-of-view being cultivated for them by the likes of people like George Soros.  Rush Limbaugh himself made the claim (which later turned out to be true) that Soros was bankrolling Black Lives Matter (BLM).  But it’s not a mystery that the anti-First Amendment crowd is linked.  Most of these “counter-protesters” are just in this for the paycheck.  The professional Anarchists that populate these gatherings are not their to participate, per se.  They’ve got their marching orders as well.  But let me be clear:  They are ALL there for the same purpose…to disrupt, dismay, and destroy the opposition.  Even old hippies like Bill Ayers who nearly blew himself up in the process of being a home-turf terrorist have re-emerged to be part of the “good times” of hurting others.

Most black Americans do not think Confederate statues should be removed because they are offensive, a Marist poll released Thursday found.

Forty-four percent of African Americans believe the Confederate statues should stay in place, while 11 percent said they’re unsure. The remaining 40 percent of African Americans polled said the statues should be removed.

Those surveyed were asked whether statues “honoring leaders of the Confederacy” should “remain as a historical symbol” or “be removed because they are offensive to some people,” or whether the respondent is unsure. NPR and PBS News Hour conducted the Marist poll Monday and Tuesday, following a weekend of violent protests sparked by the subject in Charlottesville, Va.

Latin Americans who participated overwhelmingly believe that Confederate monuments should stay in place — 65 percent said they should remain. Twenty-four percent said they should come down, while 11 percent said they weren’t sure.

White Americans also overwhelmingly supported keeping up Confederate monuments– 65 percent said they should stay, while 25 percent said they should be taken down. Eight percent said they weren’t sure if they should stay up or not. Most Republicans, Independents and those who identified as “soft” Democrats said the statues should stay.
Fifty-seven percent of those identified as “strong” Democrats said the statues should be removed.

Here, we can see where public opinion (in all ethnicities) doesn’t appear to fit the Leftist narrative.  Again, it’s just an opinion masquerading as fact.  And it will be repeated over and over until it is either accepted as fact, or it is openly rejected by a plurality of people.  Then, the Left will slink back into the hole to regroup.

Lawmakers and city officials are calling for the removal of Confederate statues, particularly in light of the Charlottesville riots, where white supremacists gathered in part to protest the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee. Baltimore city workers removed four Confederate statues late Tuesday night.

The Congressional Black Caucus has also proposed the removal of the statues from the U.S. Capitol Building.

“We will never solve America’s race problem if we continue to honor traitors who fought against the United States in order to keep African Americans in chains. By the way, thank god, they lost,” CBC Chairman Rep. Cedric Richmond, D-Louisiana, said to ABC News in a Monday statement.

Apparently, Cedric may want to go out and actually TALK to his constituents, rather than the cameras and microphones of the FNIC.
