Reverend Earl Baldwin Jr is suing Pittsburgh police officers for tasering him while he prayed over the body of his deceased stepson at the hospital emergency room.
Police claim that the pastor was interfering with attempts to revive the boy, while in fact he was already dead.
They can use force or chance death.
They were chosen with a special purpose in mind. Not to protect and serve, but to blindly uphold the will of the men which they work for. Who work for other men. So on, so forth. None of this comes as any surprise, literally ‘unfortunately.’
I know well that there are lots of times where force is required, but we are having far too many cases of police brutality and outright killings that are totally unnecessary. I don’t know where this force first training is coming from.
wow…this is ridiculous!
That is nonsense!
What did you expect
In the late 60s and early 1970s when police were granted the use of non lethal chemical and electronic weapons. The public was assured that they would be used as alternatives to shooting suspects armed with knives and clubs, etc. The primary purpose of these weapons was to be defense. Over the years we have witnessed the evolution of the use of “non lethal weapons” to include punishing unarmed non violent protesters and the same weapons being used to inflict pain with the goal being to intimidate and coerce subjects into compliance. No maybe you understand why they can’t be trusted with tanks and other military equipment. It is human nature for them to want to use the equipment they have been trained on. And unfortunately the only ones available for them to use it on is us…
Hey what about that one white homeless guy who was killed screaming daddy help me where was his protest or march ?
Excuse me, the boy was declared dead by competent medical personnel. Then the POLICE come in and say the Reverend was interfereing with attempts to revive him? Yeah, SUE THEM BLIND!
