Police Shoot Airman During Minor Traffic Accident

Police have shot Air Force Airman 1st Class, Michael Davidson, during a minor traffic accident for no apparent reason in Opelika, AL.

The Airman had inadvertently clipped the mirror of a semi-truck and was in the process of exchanging insurance information when Opelika police officer Philip Hancock told the Davidson to put his hands in the air.

Davidson turned around holding a wallet raised above his head when the officer shot him in the stomach, causing serious injuries that will likely end the young Airman’s career.

Police waited 16 hours before informing the family.
