Police have shot Air Force Airman 1st Class, Michael Davidson, during a minor traffic accident for no apparent reason in Opelika, AL.
The Airman had inadvertently clipped the mirror of a semi-truck and was in the process of exchanging insurance information when Opelika police officer Philip Hancock told the Davidson to put his hands in the air.
Davidson turned around holding a wallet raised above his head when the officer shot him in the stomach, causing serious injuries that will likely end the young Airman’s career.
Police waited 16 hours before informing the family.
Time for a big law suit for sure!
So the cop trys to KILL a military guy, isn’t that a FEDERAL offense, escalate and make the douche cop feel the same PAIN, cops are truly complete untrained trigger happy nuts …Check for a cop on STEROIDS! Drug crazed nuts sanctioned by the state!
Disgraceful. The policeman needs to lose his job.
I felt THREATENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another cop going off without the facts. What are they thinking of chargin him with -owning a wallet. Obeying the law?
COP SHOULD BE CONVICTED AND PUT IN JAIL
THAT COP SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER.HOW ARE WE TO RESPECT THEM IF THEY KEEP DOING THIS.
A shame and I wonder if they had dash cam, maybe needed this time to doctor the film… They should have to pay his medical expenses for the balance of his time that he would have been in the service and if the shot messed up his bowels they should have to pay something for the balance of his life.
Again I say, this kind of thing is why no one likes them!!!
The Air Force OSI and FBI need to investigate this shooting and get to the root to see if if the shooting was even justified, and I don’t think
there was any justification..
