Police have shot Air Force Airman 1st Class, Michael Davidson, during a minor traffic accident for no apparent reason in Opelika, AL.
The Airman had inadvertently clipped the mirror of a semi-truck and was in the process of exchanging insurance information when Opelika police officer Philip Hancock told the Davidson to put his hands in the air.
Davidson turned around holding a wallet raised above his head when the officer shot him in the stomach, causing serious injuries that will likely end the young Airman’s career.
Police waited 16 hours before informing the family.
not good
:'(
Depending on whatever physical limitations this imposes on him, he will more than likely be medically discharged from the A.F. Once he becomes a civilian he can sue the ass off of that police department. Any attorney with half a brain would spread eagle to handle this case for the notoriety and maybe even for free.
this why all cops need to be monitored. I swear they’re $#%&!@*ing retarded.
Take a breath cops.
Obama has you all charged up.

Sad case for Davidson, my prayers to him…billfold and gun, not even close, trigger happy law official.
I’m a retired LEO and I see as part of the problem the recruitment and hiring standards have been lowered and budgets slashed which prevents thorough backgrounds and psyche evaluations. I too am concerned about some trigger happy officer.
Remember if you’re pulled over do not exit the vehicle unless directed to do so, at night turn on the interior light a keep your hands on the steering wheel. Sounds strange but don’t give anyone a reason to escalate the situation.
