The NFL may be the most watched major league sport in the United States — but they’re facing some serious issues that threaten to undermine the league’s popularity.
The first problem isn’t unique to the NFL. Cable networks that carry the game are suffering serious losses as a result of cord-cutting. ESPN, in particular, has been hit hard as a result of their off-topic liberal commentary.
And then there’s the Kaepernick problem. Several NF stars have joined the former QB’s lead and are refusing to stand for the national anthem.
Now, some EMT and police officers in Cleveland are refusing to hoist the American flag at Brown’s Stadium.
But the reason isn’t why you might think.
See why Cleveland officials are refusing to lift the American flag on the next page:
These rich stupid assholes are ruining a sport for their own personal reason. Get the hell over it. Everybody has a problem with how life treats them but we don’t put our businesses out of commission over it.
There is no longer an NFL…
“Ungrateful Bastards.”
Robert, you are absolutely right. “Fans” (fool’s) who still go to the “games” are hypocrites.
Commissioner, invoke a new rule: “No stand, no okay”!
Shut them down! Shut them down! Shut them down!
So tired of seeing disrespect for our flag because of some other reason.
Wrong reason!
Wrong thing to disrespect!
I don’t blame them. It’s sad that most player are condoning killing cops, disrespect for our military and most of all disrespecting their fans. The people you are disrespecting only make a small portion of what you make and they are there to protect you.
I stopped watching.let’s see these fool go get a real job that don’t pay them to catch a ball.
Boycott the superbowl. And that will force the NFL to do something.
I have thought about this, and good for the first responders. And when does the NFL employ soldiers? The very act of kneeling directly disrespect the soldiers… So to have them as honor guard would be atrocious, a slap in the face. I think the teams/games involved in these protests don’t deserve a flag or having the National Anthem played. Let their games begin in silence. Without fan or fanfare. So they have nothing to protest. So they can play by themselves without a viewer, without offending millions. Then we’ll see just who loves to the game for the game itself. Let the players go. Let. Them protest at the Emmys, on the View, at Hillarys book signing events. Americans are tired of looking at them and hearing about them.
