Police choked 43-year-old Eric Garner of Staten Island to death after the man broke up a fight. They proceeded to accuse him of selling untaxed cigarrettes and eventually wrestled him to the ground.
Garner could be heard saying “I can’t breathe” several times as officers choked and piled on top of him.
The police will continue to get more brutal as the police state continues to increase.

Sad. Police are supposed to serve and protect. Not an easy job. Not excusing this. I just think the gentleman wasn’t cooperative. If police tell you they are going to take you into custody, resisting doesn’t help. I know not all police are GOOD because not all people are good. Many start their career with all the right intentions but become jaded and bitter through experiences and influences. Unfortunately this bitterness is a cancer and has a tendency to be tolerated or allowed to spread in some departments. The police officer should be fired because he used a choke hold on the gentleman and that is against nypd policy as well as most police departments policy for good reason. God be with all of us as we enter into this new America. These are terrifying times. Possibly unlike any of the previous generations have seen. Just please do not think all officers of the law are out to get you or your neighbors. Respect the badge. If you have or see a problem with an officer’s conduct, report him. Maybe someone else will be spared. We are losing officers to budget cuts all around this country. I don’t know what we will do without them on the streets? I’m afraid that’s when we are going to see more violence escalate amongst officers and the people. Don’t antagonize or disrespect. Right or wrong they have the power at the time of an altercation . Teach your children to have respect for authority. It could save them grief, jail or their life.
And is al sharptin really necessary. He just LOVES TO STIR STINK! He is the evil one. He manipulates people and does not really care about “his people”. He is the biggest racist I have ever seen. He NEVER makes a situation better. Al get out of this and give the police time to take care of this.
