14-year-old Jacob Herrera from Amarillo, TX attended a school football game last week and was asked by officer, Corporal Wilson, to remove the rosary he was wearing.
When Herrera refused the officer appeared to use excessive force, according to an eyewitness.
Cops ask people not wear a rosary as it could be gang related.

Totally unwarrented!!!!
well I would tell the cop to take long walk off a short pier and see if he can walk on water
Another seasoned vicious criminal taken down because the 14 year old boy was too much to handled him! That cop must have weighed three times the weight of that kid!
not right
Fire the cop and the guy that is speaking for the cop have them both fired and the mother should sue. That’s another 1.5million
this is just lame we have freedom of Religion not freedom from it and last i checked wearing a rosary was not against the law
what business if someone uses the rosary in Public.. I hope the parents sue the c**p out of all of hem
definitely excessive force and unlawful arrest. Its so simple. we live in the days where thats acceptable. Where it might be on the news, but no one will do anything about it. therefore allowing, and encouraging the police to continue this behavior. Because they know that they will get away with it, and that no one will stop them. The judges too, they will let their police buddies off- because no one believes they really can, or wants to do anything.
Over a cross come on. What if it was tattoos they supposed to remove cross tattoos too
I don’t care what cops “want”!! They can’t do that and he should SUE their ass off.
