14-year-old Jacob Herrera from Amarillo, TX attended a school football game last week and was asked by officer, Corporal Wilson, to remove the rosary he was wearing.
When Herrera refused the officer appeared to use excessive force, according to an eyewitness.
Cops ask people not wear a rosary as it could be gang related.

Yeah really cops on power strives are just ridiculous i mean if ur gonna do that then u need to look at urself and and wtf and why leave that boy alone for supporting his family and following his religion
Fire them
Happening all over the nation.
What the hell! Are we becoming a Police State now???
Good ole texas. I wonder what they would do if a horse wore a rosary
this type of action has got to stop.
yeah this cop is a real tough guy, huh? lolol He proved he could tackle a little 14yr. old kid! What a lowlife joke he is!
TOTALLY BOGUS! First of all, the boy has a Constitutional right to wear his religious article. Secondly, it was therefore an illegal arrest; I hope they sue them blind! Thirdly, unless the owner(s) of that property file a trespass grievance/complaint, that officer has NO right to arrest the boy for that particular crime; which is another reason that a false arrest suit will likely teach him a lesson.
Read the whole story before you judge. The young man didn’t even know the meaning of the different beads. . ……..
