Remember a time when children could walk home from school alone without the parents being called negligent? When kids could take a trip to the store alone without the cops being called? These days seem to be waning as more and more harmless activities are being criminalized by the nanny state, which thinks it knows how to parent your kids better than you can.
Just a few months ago parents were investigated for letting their kids walk home from school alone. And now, it’s illegal to let your kid play basketball in the front yard when you’re not home.
Dumb
I got an idea..MIND YOUR OWN F*CKING BUSINESS!!
If the kid was in harms way, why didn’t the neighbor ask them into their home and leave a note on the door. Help people!!!
Living as we did years back is no longer feasible in this country – which is not only truly sad but horribly unfair to children growing up trying to live a normal child life. But there are too many rapists, criminals, child molesters, kidnappings, roving gangs, drug wars, drug dealers, etc ., etc. Since obama has now decided to clean out prisons there will be more added to the mix – which I guess helps with creating his “nanny state” per se. I’m still wondering why the parents had to be striped searched – that seems out of sync with their “supposed crime”.
wow some people defenitley need to get a life of their own….
and the problem was??? people get a life of your own
They would rather be “do-gooders” and cause trouble for others. They should be investigated for their own “abuse”.
While i disagree that it should be illegal…i do think it’s not very smart. Even when i was a kid i knew you didn’t play in the front yard unless you wanted an ear full or a butt whoopin. It should be up to the parent where their child plays in the yard they pay taxes for.
So sad America has gone to hell in a hand basket, gee we all used to love to play with all the neighborhood kids
Is there anything you can do now days that is not against the law? It is just like a nosey neighbor, trying to run someone life when they can not run there own.
