The complicated relationship between conservative House members and Paul Ryan hit another roadblock this week, as Ryan appears to be blocking major legislation intended to take action against the Muslim Brotherhood.
Paul Ryan may have been the House’s savior after John Boehner’s unceremonial resignation last year, but he’s fallen into all the same traps that plagued his Republican predecessor. Caught between representing both sides of the isle and adhering to his party’s conservative agenda, Paul Ryan — like Boehner before him — seems to have relegated the Republican base to the sidelines.
The Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act — which even has the support of a few Democrats — is the latest example of Ryan’s refusal to acknowledge many within his own party. It seems the rift has become so deep that even combatting terrorism has become a controversial topic.
See how many House Republicans are being silenced by Paul Ryan on the next page:
Obama has put several Muslim Brotherhood in positions of high power in our government. They will never call them the enemy.
What do you expect from the rino.
Useless….
Linda Andrew – I have no doubt we have many converts in government who at some point will reveal themselves….
Paul Ryan is a Bacha Bazi in love with his captors…
