Speaker of the House Paul Ryan recently became more of an ally for Donald Trump. After keeping his distance for months on the campaign trail, Ryan is now defending the president’s agenda with surprising force, at least for Ryan.
It was less than a year ago that Ryan refused to endorse his party’s nominee for president ahead of the Republican National Convention. Just one month to election day, it was reported that Ryan would no longer defend Trump — thanks in large part to the Access Hollywood tapes that were revealed in mid-October.
But times have changed drastically. Ryan is no longer the most powerful Republican in government. That title is now Trump’s, and Ryan seems to have come to terms with the president’s agenda.
Watch on the next page as Ryan shuts down a CBS reporter who began to attack Trump’s immigration policies:
Joe
Get your head out of the sand. Your butt is showing.
Those dang Liberals fault Trump for making secret deals with Putin to get him elected. How stupid can they be. Trump has done more for
Russia since he has been in office than Obama did in 8 years!
Sorry Carolyn, national news media has become more interested in sensationalism these days, that’s true, but they are not deliberately at war with any particular political group. This Truth and Action side is at war with the national news media and the charges they make are either false OR VERY deceptive as the headline above is. There is a deliberate move to discredit the national news media because they may print FACTS that certain politicians don’t want to hear.
Where’s the outrage?
Of course Ryan is backing President Trump now – he knows what side of his bread is buttered. But I wouldn’t trust him as far as I can spit (and that would be dribbling down my chin)!
AS I RECALL THE JEWISH RELIGION IS A PEACEFUL ONE. THEY DON’T BELIEVE IN CUTTING OFF THE HEADS OF ANTONE OPPOSING THEM.
Reporters have become reality TV prima Donna’s and less research and report.
Nothing about Ryan I like . Don’t trust this “yeller dog”.
Debbie Hood Songer Thank you.
