Speaker of the House Paul Ryan recently became more of an ally for Donald Trump. After keeping his distance for months on the campaign trail, Ryan is now defending the president’s agenda with surprising force, at least for Ryan.
It was less than a year ago that Ryan refused to endorse his party’s nominee for president ahead of the Republican National Convention. Just one month to election day, it was reported that Ryan would no longer defend Trump — thanks in large part to the Access Hollywood tapes that were revealed in mid-October.
But times have changed drastically. Ryan is no longer the most powerful Republican in government. That title is now Trump’s, and Ryan seems to have come to terms with the president’s agenda.
Watch on the next page as Ryan shuts down a CBS reporter who began to attack Trump’s immigration policies:
Today Ryan is with the president but how about tomorrow. Ryan can’t be trusted. His political agenda is PAUL RyAN and to hell with the rest of us.
He cannot be trusted.. I don’t care for him at all putting it nicely because it is Sunday
Not interested in Paul Ryan
He’s aback stabber
The media has done more to divide this country in the past month than Obama did in 8 years.
Why is that old wineo Becale even on the news shows ? He is a no body know nothing idiot !
He needs to support our president!!
You are so right…they come in, can’t speak English, don’t want to speak English, have no skills, do not want to work, have medical issues and little education….and happily become welfare recipients. The Somali’s in the midwest are brought in to work for large meat processing plants and hate it….middle America then bears the cost of these refugees…. who figure out the welfare programs with alarming speed. The press does a huge disservice to the American public by NEVER reporting this info!
What, Paul Ryan, did the George Soros bounce? Now you are acting like a real American?
Good for him!!
Spot on Dave Weiss. The contradictory statement from the Florida gentleman makes me laugh. He derides stagnant wages while touting socialism. I wonder if perhaps he understands the importance of a free market system that works for the employee just as muchvas the employer. That wages are based on supply and demand. That with forced socialism real wages will be further stagnated due to the additional benefits mandated to employers. Or that jobs will be lost as a result of the same. Just ask the fools that won their $15/hr minimum wage that forced companies to further self serve technologies and automation.
