Patagonia CEO Rose Marcario believes the government has a duty to help protect U.S. wildernesses for future generations. She worries that President Trump poses a unique risk to the future of American wildlife.
Some people argue that federal nature preserves are nothing more than a shameless attempt to place large amounts of land under government control. Adding to these flames are conspiracies that the government is using these lands for dubious private projects. And you have to hand it, conspirators, it really doesn’t take a lot of imagination to see outdoor companies like Patagonia fighting to save public lands to create DNC “protest camp” style training groups for U.S. domestic terror groups like Antifa.
Conspiracies aside though. Marcario has an agenda. And it’s not a pretty sight to behold. What’s unfolding right now in Utah is indicative of a larger pattern set to unfold across the country. More information of what Marcario wants to do with these public lands on the next page.
Patagonia CEO Rose Marcario cares about the environment. She is also very smart, apparently. She could tell there were differences between the proposed environmental policies of the two different candidates during the 2016 presidential campaign. However, Marcario worried that the vicious mudslinging of the election would upset voters. So, it was her duty to puts around and publicly proclaim “I’m with her” until the establishment told her to put down her cat. Stop chasing beavers. And add the weight and fury building up over at Patagonia to the slough of California businesses attacking the president.
I’m not really following the first paragraph. Also, careful with saying something positive or seemingly positive about liberals. If it is sarcastic it needs to be more obvious or people will just back out of the article. Can you revise the first paragraph?
“We have to fight like hell to keep every inch of public land”
Best to save details to page 2
We still don’t know where ALL the public lands are going. But we do know it’s President Trump’s fault. And Marcario is going to do something. What?! We don’t know, of course, silly. But she will do something and that something is going to negate the something bad that we don’t about but all President Trump’s fault.
Needs rework. I get the point, but could be stated more concisely and with more punch.
But anyways, Marcario was told to be offended and make herself a major pain in the ass.
Told by who?
For what is going to happen once the government gains an almost complete monopoly of our lands? And that is happening right now today aided on by big money elite corporations!
So Trump is under the influence of these corporations?
1) Yes! – meant the lady makes no sense (the irony of my having to explain that is not lost of me)
2) Got it.
3) Told by who?
Surely that question is rhetorical lol Told by the liberal media and establishment – I assume she is based in that ideology/culture/movement as big supporter of Hillary – So stands to reason she is doing her part through Patagonia to be part of the “Trump” resistance – Although I could be making liberal leaps of logic in my assumptions, of course, and might be wrong.
4) isn’t actually mad at Trump. She was directly fighting Utah Republicans fighting Obama-era policies. Although Trump overall agreed in theory with Utah Republicans as a fellow Republican not really involved or a player. Macrario was just using the name Trump as a trigger word for her support base. Furthermore my point wasn’t directly involving Trump and rather unclear. Right now businesses are impacting policies involving public lands. And yes this happening under the Trump Presidency although not his fault. Hypothetically some day down the road if the role of big business continue to grow it could result in the loss of large amounts of land to government control under the guise of protecting it from environmental distress.
Sorry about that. This one was really off. At a bit of a loss as to how one would frame this besides federal government and big corporations as the villains. Should be bit better. Just let me know if you’d like any more changes 🙂
looks great now Hannah
