The Federal government does not like to be challenged, and it has the resources and the power to make citizens yield, and does so when it cannot win the argument. If you have been following the conflict in Oregon recently between ranchers and the Federal government, you will know that the government, which owns over 50% of the land in eleven western states, is willing to jail you for unintended trespass of undeveloped, unoccupied land.
Two ranchers who did some brush clearing of their own ranch, but inadvertently burned some of the adjoining federal land, are now in prison for a long stay, based on a charge of arson. It is worth pointing out that the fire they started was put out by the ranchers without outside help, and the land itself is actually now healthier and more productive due to the reduction of brush and overgrowth. But the government wants to make sure that everyone understands they are in charge and they have the power.
A small group of ranchers, led by Ammon Bundy, are occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge building in protest of the unjust sentence and the overbearing government position. Fortunately, no violence has developed, but Bundy and his group have vowed to stay until the two ranchers in question are freed. But the government still wants to make a strong point, and they have enlisted a judge to help them.

Kurt Gortler That way they can take his land.
I support #DonaldTrump for President 2016.
This is our chance to save us from sharia law or Marxist slavery
Reasons for Supporting Trump:
1) Donald Trump is immune to special interest lobbying because he has accepted no donations or special interest money. No other candidate can make this claim.
2) Donald Trump knows how to negotiate. No one builds an international business empire the size of Mr. Trump’s without being able to win at the negotiating table.
3) Donald Trump is an executive. The President of the United States is the Chief Executive Officer of our nation. We don’t need a policy expert or a legislator – we need someone who knows how to run an organization. Mr. Trump is the only candidate who has a proven record as a successful executive on a large scale.
4) Donald Trump is honest. Mr. Trump is a man who tells the truth. He may not always say it in the most polished way, but our country has had enough suave liars. It is time for some straight forward honesty.
5) Donald Trump is decisive. We hear about his having business interests that filed for bankruptcy. In each case, he looked at the situation as it was, and then he cut his losses. We need someone who will look at government programs realistically and if they are failures; will end the wasteful Washington spending.
6) Donald Trump is courageous. Mr. Trump has been viciously attacked by the Washington establishment and the media – and he has not budged one inch. In other words, he is willing to take charge and lead.
7) Donald Trump listens. At Trump Presidential events, the audience gets to actually speak to him without being screened, and he responds without a teleprompter.
8) Donald Trump understands that a nation without borders, language and laws is not a nation.
9) Donald Trump has actually read the Bill of Rights, and is willing to defend its provisions. He is not afraid to speak about Christian persecution, and protecting gun rights.
10) Donald Trump loves this country – and says so. He wants to make America great again.
11) Trump has said he will accept no presidential salary.
12) And now Trump has shown he has what it takes to manage good foreign relations.
No other candidate has the freedom to fight Washington, D.C. Corruption like #DonaldTrump.
Let’s Make America Great Again
that$#%&!@*they call judge needs to read the constitution that fucking Moron needs to get off that bench and fired
Unfortunately, you are probably right.
King obama has ruled to destroy another American family,,,,,,,
They just passed a $1.1 TRILLION DOLLAR budget for 2016. Take the money out of there! There’s no violence, there’s no damage to buildings, there’s no throwing rocks and blocks at the law, there’s no buildings or cars being burned, there’s no looting. WHO paid for Ferguson’s mess? Baltimore’s mess? Certainly not the protesters and looters!!
And it’s at their (govt) own expense if they want to put FBI there to “watch”. I don’t know how they come up with such an insane figure! Government should pay for it’s own way. They got the budget passed.
Jason Kaparp Purvis The mason dixon line Constituted “the south”. It’s not even debatable. Mentality is another subject all together. But there are places up north like North dakota who have the south “mentality” as you put it also. Your numbers are also not meshing with the Crime stat numbers.
Jared Walls You never heard of Virginia being the “south” WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess yiu never heard of Robert E. Lee either…Sad.
