Here we go again! In this case, a Kansas City police officer was denied service at an Independence, Missouri, restaurant because he had a gun.
Officer Michael Holsworth posted the incident on Facebook. He was on duty and meeting his family for a birthday lunch at the Olive Garden restaurant near Noland Road and U.S. Highway 40.
While waiting, Holsworth an employee came up and told him they don’t allow guns in the restaurant. Find out what happened next and watch the video on the next page:

I’ll never eat there
Truth and actions loves freedoms until people exercise them in a way that doesn’t fit your agenda. The rules are the rules. If a citizen with a permit to carry cannot bring a gun in there then a cop who is not responding to a call there can’t either. Cops sure want us to follow the rules but they don’t feel as if they need to. Like I said. If he was responding to a call then this is a different story. Since he wasn’t on a call instead he was going to a restaurant to eat with his family while on duty. Taxpayer funded family lunch?
So he’s a kc cop on duty in independence, mo. He has no jurisdiction there. why would he be on duty in another town? Is there something I’m missing?
Boo
I’ll not go there
If your deputized or have sworn as an officer of the peace it makes no sense why anybody would want them to leave their fire arm behind locked up in a vehicle …. It makes things more complicated if some one breaks into the car and takes the fire arm. Come on people … What’s wrong with you…
Lately it seem that there is something against officers
And their guns at public restaurants.
Well if the cop didn’t break the Olive Garden law he’d have nothing to worry about!
Boycott Oliver GARDEN
I let them know on their fb page I will be boycotting their establishments
