In a recent pre-trial hearing in Xenia, Ohio, a judge agreed with a prosecutor’s motion to prohibit the defendant from mentioning the Constitution or the constitutionality of the law he was charged with violating.
Judge Catherine Barber stated “there will be no mentioning of the Constitution” to the defendant, Virgil Vaduva.
The prosecutor made the claim that mentioning the Constitution “will confuse the jury,” to which Vaduva replied that uttering words on a public sidewalk, his panhandling charge, constitutes free speech.

WTH has happened to the state of Ohio???
Recall him!
What happened to the First Ammendment rights?
Immediate removal for failure to uphold oath. Remove, disbar and back to 0 for this one.
And here I thought all this time the constitution is the law of the land that judges swear to protect and defend!!!!
Then replace this judge.
This is America The Constitution is America’s Law. Never ever Sharia Law. If people live in America they should and must be judged under American law. Being of a different culture or believing in Sharia Law is not and should never be an excuse or defense for doing something that is not allowed by American Law!
Fire the judge.
Crazy!
You are saying whoever is on trial has no right to the Laws of the Constitution of America. Interesting. I can’t see that standing up to well.
